In June 2025, Hengda Packaging officially launched its Green Future Initiative, a corporate program focused on sustainable packaging solutions and carbon footprint reduction. As part of the initiative, Hengda will increase the use of biodegradable non-woven materials, improve waste recycling rates, and work with global partners to promote eco-conscious packaging.
“Sustainability is not just a trend — it’s our responsibility,” said Ms. Li, Head of Corporate Responsibility at Hengda. “Our non-woven bags are already reusable and decomposable within 90 days outdoors. We aim to further reduce plastic content and promote circular economy practices.”
The program also includes R&D investment in water-repellent yet compostable fabrics, helping clients meet environmental regulations across Europe and North America.
